A system of pedestrian pathways will meander through the Heron River community for the use and enjoyment of the residents, connecting all parts of the community. The Star River Walk runs through the Wildlife Preserve and along the Boise River at the south edge of the Heron River property. This pathway will serve to promote the natural aspects of the community, while protecting the wildlife along the Boise River. Another primary pathway will be a landscaped linear pathway running along the banks of the Lawrence Kennedy Creek.
